http://www.ehow.com/info_7757569_advantages-technology.html I found another article about how great technology is, all the advances today, and how it helps our daily lives. They had focused on growth, shaping the world, and communication mostly. Yes, technology has made our lives so much easier by the fast various types of communications we have via email, text, calls, etc. And yes, they can all be done in less than a second at home. However, as I said before it has made our one on one communication extremely low and weak. Most people cannot have a full conversation with someone they are sitting next to they’ve known for years, yet they can text or chat with a complete stranger for days. This article stressed that technology has made it easy to communicate with someone across the world, which is absolutely true and I am all in favor of technology for that reason. But that isn’t the only way people use technology, they start to abuse it and that is all they depend on then. People make it seem like technology is all they have and they forget how to really communicate or act in social situations. I have had friends and also seen others at social gatherings sit together and text message other people instead of actually spending that time together. That is precious time you can spend talking, laughing, and doing other meaningful things rather than sitting silently next to one another and communicating via text messages or via emails. Here is another picture I found that has to do with my post, enjoy :)
